Explanation of above picture: "This picture was taken in my office, I was running a program for felons on their way out of prison and we also treated them for drug abuse, a subject that I was quite familiar with. I was the deputy director of this program, looking like that. I was also a member of the New Haven branch of the Black Panther party and spent some time with Mrs. Huey Newton. Four weeks after this was taken, I was in Cambridge and played on the Harvard Law School BALSA team which won a major tournament. They did not have to return the trophy when it came out that the African American basketball team had a Jewish ringer."
